Back and Better Than Ever

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Long time no see. It’s been quite some time since our last post, and it’s about time to get back on track.

After some pretty drastic life changes, I want to continue to grow with all of you through The Hemingway Post.

With that being said, there are going to be some changes moving forward…

My goal for this newsletter is not to give advice that looks great on paper but isn’t very practical. Actually, it’s quite the opposite.

I simply want to give you a new perspective on self-improvement that comes from deep within myself.

I am definitely not the most knowledgeable on these, and still very early on my path of self-improvement…

But that’s pretty cool, isn’t it?

I’m just another guy hoping to be better today than I was yesterday; not some old wise dude that telling you exactly what you should be doing.

All in all, I want to cut the BS and just leave the good stuff moving forward…and I’m hoping you’ll join me.

Anyway, that’s enough of me yapping. Here is a quick thought about your environment…

Changing your environment is great for getting stuff done.

Instead of taking a 5-minute study break and ending up scrolling on my phone for an hour, I can just put my phone in another room.

Such a simple thing but it makes it harder not to stay focused. At the end of the day, that's all it really is: Making it as easy as possible to be productive.

Right now I’m at the library with my phone off and only my laptop and a water bottle on the table. I have headphones in playing some Lofi music. This makes continuing to write this newsletter the easiest thing to do. Easier than going into my backpack and turning on my phone. Easier than going back home and playing video games. Easier than all those other things I could be doing, but aren’t really helpful to me.

What is a simple change you can make to your environment that will help you out?

Maybe delete social media during the day. Maybe clean your room so you have space to think. Or even, doing your work in the same spot to teach your brain when it’s work time.

Think small at first.

I greatly appreciate all the feedback I have received on my past newsletters. It’s a blessing to know that people are improving their lives.

Please email me with any questions, thoughts, opinions, or anything of the sort.

Moving forward, I hope this shorter and less sugarcoated style provides more value than before. Let me know!

Remember, ladies and gentlemen…

Keep making progress. Change for the better. Live the Heming-way.

See you next Monday,

Trevor

P.S.: How frequently do you want me to send these out? Email me with your opinion 👍.
