Surrealism

Similar to last Monday, I want to share one of my random thoughts from this past week. It may be interesting to some, weird to others, but at least it’s authentic😁.

Do you ever contemplate the absurdity of life? Our reality is crazy, but it’s easy to overlook when it’s all we know.

Even the tangible things are pretty amazing when you really think about. Take the human body, for example.

If that’s the case, the hidden things would be even more so. What are these hidden things?

One comes to mind immediately: Heaven and the spiritual forces at work in us and around us, blind to eyes but not to hearts.

Life can be so simple yet so complex at the same time. It’s a paradox. It’s all about how you look at it.

It seems like everyone falls differently on this spectrum of motivation to understand. Some are naturally deeper thinkers who contemplate topics far greater than themselves or the scope of their lives.

Others naturally live presently, enjoying their time without as much thought to grander schemes and happenings. Where someone falls on this scale influences how they interact with the world.

But the good thing is, there is beauty across it all. There is beauty in simplicity and presence. There is beauty in pondering and contemplating. And there is beauty found anywhere in between.

There is no ‘good’ or ‘bad’ here. What is, is.

Again, forgive me if this isn’t your style, but I don’t want to write about cookie-cutter things you’ve heard a hundred times. And if I do, I at least want to put my own spin on it.

Keep making progress. Change for the better. Live the Heming-way.

God bless,

Trevor
